The Cowrie shell bag is the centre of our collection. Made of linen and camel leather, the bag is adorned with hand stitched cowrie shells. Single leather round top handle, and drawstring closure at the top. The shells were sourced from West Africa and have in antiquity times been used as currency and have a deep spiritual meaning.
